I have booked an Egyptian tour with OAT for Recently, I have been reading terrible reviews about this company. What have your experiences been? Should I cancel? I have been on 2 tours with OAT and have a 3rd booked.

Hopefully, OAT will continue to focus more on staffing and the administrative aspects of customer service, aka phone calls, and a little lesser budget on printed advertisements, brochures and costly literature that is frequently mailed out. I appreciate the response of Cyn to my negative review about OAT's allowing a fellow traveler to get away with her hostile treatment of me throughout a long trip, with no remediation, and no reply after I filed my complaint afterward, not even "sorry for your experience, o.a.t. travel.

As its name suggests, tours with Overseas Adventure Travel tend to be fairly active, so participants should be comfortable with six to eight hours of activity each day, including walking distances ranging from three to six miles. When OAT cancelled the main trip, we were told that we could get a full refund on the spot, or reschedule the trip, price protected, to December Travelstride Gift Card. It has been two full months since cancelling and no refund has been made. What an incredible adventure to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. This was a new tour they just started offering in the last few months. They need to update the packing list - less from the pharmacy! Type Global operator. I guess we'll see.
