I did a review on the first color I bought here on the blog, almost 2 years ago Love Libertystill one of my faves. Recently, Charlotte Tilbury released a new collection of lipsticks, 1975 red charlotte tilbury, the Hot Lips collection.

My other recommendation from the Charlotte Tilbury x Norman Parkinson collections besides the highlighter, that I reviewed here are the Matte Revolution lipsticks. I love the bright orange red Red and beautiful nude Miss Kensington, they are prefect summer shades. I find the Matte Revolution formula really nice, its not super drying but I did feel some light drying after about 4 hours of wear, the Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons are less drying in my opinion. I love that these lasted longer on the lips because of the formula, I got a good 5 hours or so of wear. I love the square-ish shaped bullet, I found it made it easier to apply the bold Red Red is very pigmented. The shades have a matte but not like the sahara matte finish I hope this makes sense, the pictures should help.

The Charlotte Tilbury products are definitely quite hyped. So I decided to finally try something by the brand. We don't have it in stores here in Bulgaria, but at least we can order online. My advice is to avoid ordering lipsticks in August, because my first Charlotte Tilbury lipstick arrived melted. The good news is that I managed to fix it. The packaging is amazing - rose gold. I even think that it looks better than the packaging of the YSL lipsticks. I expected the bullet to be heavier though, that would have make it feel even more luxurious. You get 3,5 g. The lipstick Red is a part of the last Charlotte Tilbury collection, it's in collaboration with Norman Parkinson. This product is a limited edition one. Red actually is very similar to the Kendall Jenner lipstick for EL review here , the formulation and the colour are similar. Both lipsticks smell of vanilla, but the scent is slightly different.

As a great matte lippy lover, I have this self-imposed mission to find the next best thing to grace my growing matte collex. Why this obsession you ask? You can be bare-faced or wearing old slipphas but trust me, matte lipstick the brightest or boldest stops traffic. The latest to jump in the matte bandwagon? Charlotte Tilbury no less. There are 12 shades available, ranging from neutral to pink to berry. It conforms to the shape of my lips, thereby making it easy to swipe and glide. Creamy and matte but not luminous, at least for Red. Not a big deal because I love authentic and unadulterated matte. This feels light on the lips but it does require pass to render enviable opacity.

This shade settles more into my lip lines than Red does, but some gloss or lip balm under the lipstick to keep the finish should sort that out I just wanted to show the effect of just the lipstick.
