Thin seats aren't as bad as s flown by some other airlines, but the narrow width means shoulder to shoulder action when you're stuck in the middle. Only grievance I have with this seat is that 787 9 seat map is right on the back of the left wing, and you hear all of the engine noise.

Lighting is updated and very good. Windows that dim or blackout by remote are a nice touch. Just the E's. As a 6'1" guy this was great. The extra inch of legroom 32 inches vs 31 inches on other airlines makes a big difference in comfort. I would prefer this cabin to the larger front one, as long as I was not in the last row, which is right up against the coach cabin. Don't recommend these seats unless you weigh less that lbs. Also, location for biz class pax is awkward. First choice of meals and drinks and good in flight with wifi. Seat 24 L is a standard Economy Plus seat however, the proximity to the lavatories and galleys may be bothersome. Flight attendants struggle to get meal and drink carts down the aisle. I was consistently bombarded with passing arms, hips and cart-brazing. Couldn't sleep at all in this seat, a first for me. I am a 6 feet tall woman cm with very long legs, and this seat was pretty comfortable length-wise. Contour of the airplane makes the seat feel cramped.

Inflight entertainment is provided through United Private Screening. United Private Screening may be accessed through the inflight entertainment monitors at each seat or via streaming to your own personal device. A variety of genres of music are available for listening pleasure.

Seat 16 L is a standard Economy Plus seat that has extra legroom due to the position of the bulkhead however, the position of the bassinet may be bothersome. AA provides mattresses for the flight, which was the most comfortable bed I have ever had on a plane. One of the arms can be pushed down for more room. The galley noise didnt bother me much, but i kept headphones or earbuds on almost the entire flight even when i wasnt listening to anything. Its close proximity to the restroom is both a plus and a minus. You will have to endure constant bumping of your seat mostly have other passengers to and from the bathroom. So the extra leg room for him was great. Flagship Business and Premium Economy passengers are offered premium dining. I perused other foot areas and they don't appear to have the same issue. The economy seats can hardly recline. We were able to sleep successfully and begin our trip in France rested and ready.
