This Sporting Life was a culturally iconic Triple J radio comedy programme, created by award-winning actor-writer-comedians John Abc sporting life and Greig Pickhaverwho performed as their characters Roy and HG, abc sporting life. Broadcast from toit was one of the longest-running, most popular and most successful radio comedy programmes of the television era in Australia. Undoubtedly the longest-running show in Triple J's programming history, it commanded a large and dedicated nationwide audience throughout its year run.
