Although she walked away from the Jedi Order, she continued to stand up for those fighting for peace and justice in the galaxy long after the fall of the Republic. Even as a small child, Ahsoka Tano displayed inklings of her courageous nature and strong connection to the Force. Born to Pav-Ti and Nak-il Tano, Ahsoka spent her early life with her family in a small village overseen by the elder Gantika. As a toddler, Ahsoka joined her mother, Pav-Ti, for a customary kybuck hunt. During the ritual, honoring life and death, they were attacked by a raxshir. The creature stalked off with the tiny child, but Ahsoka was able to communicate with the animal and calm it through the Force , to be returned safely to her family. Over the course of the Clone Wars conflict, Ahsoka fought beside Clone Captain Rex , saving him and fending off General Grievous , to earn the respect of the clone army. However, she also made costly mistakes. During her first stint as commander, Ahsoka disobeyed a direct order to retreat; as a result, most of her squadron was wiped out, teaching her a valuable lesson in responsibility. On Raxus, she met young Separatist Lux Bonteri and found some compassion for the enemy, recognizing that some citizens had valid reasons for wanting to break away from the Republic. As the war continued, Ahsoka matured into a great leader.

Ahsoka also discards one of her lightsabers before parting ways with Rex. After being tasked with the job by Master Yoda, who believed a youthful Padawan could help get through to Mandalore, she was brought to Mandalore by Skywalker. Tano continued to help the Ghost crew on several missions, including battles with other Inquisitors like the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother , but fate would lead Tano to a greater confrontation with Darth Vader. When the Skakoan attempted to seize the Core with a grappling hook, Skywalker used the Force to throw it into Bane's ship. The Republic plotted the course of the Separatist super weapon to the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center , where over 60, wounded clones were being cared for. When Kryze left them both alone before their meeting with Pre Vizsla, Tano learned of Bonteri's plan to convince Death Watch, who recently had a falling out with the Sith Lord, to assassinate Dooku. Soon after, more of Sobeck's special units arrived as Sobeck announced that they were going to be his "guests" for a very long time as they appeared to have been captured. The two groups planed to rendezvous at the shuttle where R2-D2 awaited them. As the rest of the group arrived in the cell, Tarkin, Piell's captain, noted their presence and asked how they were going to get out of the facility. However, just as they were about to head back, Tano sensed Master Koon's presence and started piloting the Twilight herself towards him. Bane used his blaster pistol for fire at the young Togruta; however, Tano easily deflected the shot, injuring Bane's right arm. Shortly thereafter, Skywalker devised a plan to utilize the newly acquired BTL-B Y-wing starfighters in a daring attack upon the Malevolence , primarily focusing on targeting Separatist General Grievous to ensure a speedier resolution to the war.

Ahsoka Tano is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. Kenobi suggested that they use ascension cables, but was met with disapproval from Skywalker as he noted the electromines dotting the cliff face and that the ascension cables would have nothing to grab onto without hitting the electromines, which would notify the entire prison of their presence. Ohnaka made the delivery himself, and the new weapons turned the tide of the battle. Skywalker revealed to Tano what he found out about Maxus, and a disjointed Tano prepared for her race. Sugi then offered the Jedi a ride in her ship since theirs had been destroyed, which they accepted. Tano pursued and contacted Sinube, informing him about the predicament. As he stood back up, he confirmed he had not revealed the coordinates of the Nexus Route as Kenobi handed him his lightsaber back. Asking Master Yoda for advice on the subject, Yoda advised her to calm her mind use her visions to try and see who was going to be assassinated. As Skywalker communicated with the scouts who had been sent to Teth, Tano quickly became friendly with the clones, telling them about her rescue of Skywalker on Christophsis. Jinx and O-Mer plunged into despair, but Tano did her best to keep their spirits up, proposing a plan to attack a transport ship as it delivered new prisoners. She could sense something was about to happen, and at that very moment, the clones attacked her.
