Very unpleasant journey where you feel as though you are in the way of everybody and everything. Seat 18 D is an Economy Class Bulkhead seat with extra legroom. I like having the option, at least. The seat itself was very comfortable, but it didn't recline too far so it wasn't perfect. My first time in business with Air Canada and found the heavy padded seat belt a little strange but got used to this. It was a nice flight overall with this new Dreamliner and loved the big windows. As well, no curtain between Premium and regular economy, and I had expected a curtain,so if you are paying expecting some exclusivity and seclusion, you won't find it. I pay extra because I am extremely uncomfortable in enclosed places and access to the window is very important to me. The galley is unattended most of the flight because it is only used for storage, so this makes this seat VERY quiet. Sat in the business class seat which was shaped as a pod. Also, if you pull up your TV screen from your armrest, it then partially blocks the aisle so the carts are guaranteed to hit it. I was eager and excited to fly on this relatively new plane.
