To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I've had an issue for a while that when one of my airpod pros connects the left it makes a loud static noise for about seconds. After that the connection is fine, I don't get hissing or static when in use unless I'm adjusting the airpod in my ear, or pressing the stem to change track etc. I can't hear the 'click' as the static overpowers this. The right airpod does this occasionally when I reposition it, just not the s of static when connects like the other ear. Update: as I was checking the serial number I've discovered this static only occurs when noise cancelling is switched on. Posted on Sep 15, PM.

That aside, the old problem of making a popping sound followed by a buzz seems to still plague these ear phones. For reference, I left them in the charging case plugged in overnight. If they are in transparency mode, it pops then has a 1. If it is in noise cancellation mode it merely pops. It will do this in one ear, then repeat about seconds later on the other ear. I tried alternating between transparency mode and noise cancellation mode. I tried playing music and pausing music. I placed them back into the case and took them out again.
