As a result, designers around the industry have been working to improve the edge performance of their rocker models. In some cases, this has meant putting camber back into the nose and tail. In response, we offer the award winning System, which provides riders an amazing level of edge hold in a design that preserves the full range of true-rocker benefits. The new contacts also create heel and toe pivot points that make turning faster and more efficient. This ensures that the outside contact points are close enough to the snow to reengage when maximum edge control is needed: loaded turns, higher speeds, and bigger landings. Our Parabolic Rocker provides an additional layer of ondemand edge control without sacrificing any true-rocker performance. On the Abacus splitboard, the rocker was reclined more in the tail to provide improved performance when skinning. By adding an additional structural layer to the board, in the form of a wood or bamboo topsheet, we significantly enhance board pop and return for much improved true-rocker performance. The way the System blends the technologies above creates a single design that works for all riding styles.

The A-Frame is available in five sizes: cm, cm wide, cm, cm mid-wide, and cm wide. I went with the cm—for reference, I'm 5'11", lbs. Let's have a look at how the A-Frame stacks up on snow. As a quick rundown, this full-camber board is stiff throughout, super stiff in the tail, feels pretty light, sports a huge tapered nose, and has a short sidecut. How This Review Happened: We borrowed this for an extended demo and then returned it. Size: Days : 3 Conditions : Everything from bumpy groomers to hard snow to soft pretty well-groomed snow. The Arbor-A-Frame feels a bit on the heavy side of normal. It felt pretty good for my boot size. Maybe not perfect, but close enough and just fine for my weight. If I went any bigger, it would be a dream of perfect groomers, but there would be situations where the A-Frame would end up riding me when the conditions turned.

So Arbor added a little switch to the design between the production model and the demo model we tried. Mono-rail 6G carves are so much fun with this stick Very docile yet very decise once pointed down. I find that the lifted sides can make it wash out when buttering. Because of this my guess is that the production models flex should be about the same as the demo we tried. I feel I am improving and connecting with it more at every run. The Arbor A-Frame is a lot easier to bend and twist than many other boards in its category. I love Arbor, their boards are great and I like the idea of their Roots collection and getting back to the roots of snowboarding. Throughout history, wood and bamboo have been important building m als known for their versatility and strength. Holds an edge with rage.

For me riding groomers was my first choise! It looks fantastic and feels as easy to drive as say an "Audi-S4" but at the same time it demands the same attention Dec 11, by Kirkrider. It feels washier on the tail if your front foot weight your turns hard, but with a posi stance, it reduces that feel a bit.
