Active mostly when hunting for food or defending its nest, a good plan is to avoid every Tyrannosaurus. It is pure power -- from its stomp to its tail. It is not able to intimidate every foe with its roar, but upon hearing it, it might scare the poop out of you - quite literally.

As an apex predator, Rexes are one of the strongest tamable creatures, capable of taking out whole tribes within a couple minutes. Even at a low level, Tyrannosaurus Rex is a difficult creature to track down. Aside from the Tek Cave spawn location, Rex spawns elsewhere are quite uncommon. However, some map locations have increased odds of spawning a Rex, and I suggest heading to these areas to find and tame a Rex. Leave the location completely and wait a few moments before returning. I prefer doing a loop of each area so I can ensure new spawns while hitting the best spots to search for a high-level Rex. Alpha Rex can be found in any normal Rex spawn areas. Otherwise, you may end up like our good friend Gennaro, the lawyer in Jurassic Park. When prepared and accompanied by your tribe, taking down an Alpha Rex is a great source of pride. Once The Center expansion map launches, the best place to find a Tyrannosaurus Rex will be around the Lava Cave, as long as the spawn points remain the same as Ark: Survival Evolved. Common Rare Untameable Cave. The Alpha T-Rex is a bigger, stronger version of a Rex which rarely spawns towards the inland areas of the island. In addition to their own strength, they also buff the damage and resistance of any nearby wild carnivores. They pose a significant threat to any players who aren't fully prepared to encounter one. Alpha Creatures cannot be knocked out. The best way to kill one of these beasts is by using a strong Quetzalcoatlus or Argentavis with points put into Health , Melee Damage , and Stamina. Use Raw Meat to heal them in the battle. You can also use a Giganotosaurus. They also frequently drop recipes, high-quality weapons and armor, and various other items. Alpha T-Rexes do not drop normal Raw Meat when harvested.

The Tyrannosaurus Dominum is one of the largest creatures that have appeared during the late Cretaceous period and are extremely aggressive carnivores. As this creature walks, the earth trembles and those who can feel the ground shaking as this creature approaches better run as soon as possible or else they will feel the powerful bite from it which can crush both small creatures and humans alike due to its large size and brute strength. Tribes call these creatures Rex as a shortcut to their name and have seen these massive creatures wandering around, preying on creatures smaller or even of equal size to it. The Rex will attack survivors and other creatures the moment it sees them and will chase until too much distance is gained or until they lose range but other than that, anything is ideally a snack for this vicious creature, including you. Should a tribe be able to tame a Rex, they gain a powerful tame which is capable of killing other survivors instantly and tearing up their tames with ease. This is considered to be one of the deadliest creatures that can be found and are usually avoided by most tribes that are not ready to handle taming or fighting it. A beast of sheer power, the Rex is feared by many survivors and creatures and even just a roar is enough to scare off creatures near it and literally scare the crap out of them. Regardless of this creature being a different sub-species of Tyrannosaurus, many refer to it as a Tyrannosaurus Rex and later on the nickname Rex was given to it by those who witness its presence and some that may have even killed or tamed them. Being able to tame a Tyrannosaurus is a large stepping stone for many tribes and not only is it something worth bragging about but these fierce predators are worth the trouble as they can attack enemies, defend bases and pretty much destroy almost anything that gets in their way.
