Artefacts alfheim is the first main realm other than Midgard that you can explore in the game, artefacts alfheim, and part of your main Journey. The realm of Alfheim can be explored after your journey to the mountain stops short and you are given the travel rune.

Not all of Alheim is available when you first visit, with some areas being locked off until later in the story. This Artifact in The Strond is found just after you first use Twilight Stone to destroy a wooden door from behind and fight some Wretches. Standing in the doorway facing the way forward, you should see a ledge just ahead that you can drop down. Do so, head left, then destroy the debris blocking the way, then kill the two Wretches who show up. In the room beyond the doorway will be the Artifact, sitting next to a Legendary Chest.

There are six different Spoils of War artifacts in God of War scattered throughout Alfheim, and they can all be collected during " The Light of Alfheim" chapter of the game. During " The Light of Alfheim ," Kratos and Atreus have set out to enchant Atreus' bow with the Light of Alfheim itself, which will allow the boy's bow to create light bridges throughout the realms. Finding all six of the Spoils of War artifacts is important if players want to complete any pending upgrades for Atreus' bow and quiver. Each Spoils of War artifact can be sold separately to the Dwarven brothers Brok and Sindri, and this is an easy way to get more Hacksilver in God of War. Selling all six of the Spoils of War artifacts will net players 22, Hacksilver, a pretty hefty sum that covers the costs of nearly all upgrades during the early game in God of War. Upgrading Atreus's bow allows him to use XP to upgrade his individual skills, including some of the Light Arrow skills he unlocks near the end of " The Light of Alfheim " chapter. Although many will likely want to explore Alfheim as the first new realm in God of War , all six Spoils of War artifacts can be found as Atreus and Kratos venture toward the exit of the realm. Alfheim is one of the many aesthetically pleasing realms featured in God of War , and, while exploration may be limited, its war-torn territory can be seen in every corner of the map. Nonetheless, many Spoils of War artifacts can be found just before the Svartaljofurr boss fight in God of War , and shortly thereafter.
