Lubbock's Avery and the Calico Hearts didn't muster enough votes Tuesday night after a performance on "America's Got Talent" to emerge as one of the wild card winners Wednesday. The announcement came during the first 30 minutes of the program.

More than five months after being only one of hundreds of unknown acts auditioning in Houston for the season of NBC reality show "America's Got Talent," all hope ended for three little West Texas girls known collectively as Avery and the Calico Hearts.
