Starting a company that makes illustrated world maps for different hobbies. You can imagine how many people asked me if I was being serious.

This might be one of my favorite pieces of climbing paraphernalia in the world. Now granted I have an affinity for maps, but this climbing map is so much more than a map. The map itself depicts crags all over the globe. It comes with beautiful pieces of artwork representing locations from The Santiago Region all the way to Fontainebleau. From the Grampians all the way to your neck of the woods. This map is so beautifully detailed with an incredibly meticulous key representing the type of climbing, the number of routes, the height of the walls, and the difficulty levels.

Awesome Maps is a company that designs all sorts of maps for globetrotters and adventurers. They are not your typical map as each map on their portfolio has been meticulously researched by experts, hand-illustrated by various talented artists, and then printed in Berlin. The results are beautiful and high-quality maps for your home, workplace, or even your backpack! This awesome company started making maps in , launching with their Surf Map. But what drew my attention to this company was their world map for scuba divers. As an avid traveler, I have always been fond of maps. Unfortunately, after moving homes several times, my homemade travel and dive map got misplaced and is now collecting dust somewhere.
