We are getting reading to buy a convertible car seat for our toddler and are confused by the different ratings available. While Consumer Reports gave the Chicco Nextfit its highest rating for the crash test and other features, Baby Gear Lab gave the same model a lower rating for its crash test. We want to buy the safest seat available, but how do we know what that is? I'm guessing that Consumer Reports is more reliable? Any advice? My little is small and light for her age.
