When I got it, the yellow was not enough of a contrast with the variegated yarn; so chose a white instead. I'm sure I will find a use for the yellow too! Yarn is soft and great to knit with. I used a "G" Lion Brand Bamboo hook with this yarn, and they were very compatible.
