Forgot your password? By phreak June 19, in Banshee Repairs and Mods. Now that the nice weather is here, i want install my -2 roundhouse swingarm that's been laying around for god knows how long. Be prepared to beat the piss out of the bolt to get it out, and put some antisieze compund on it when you put it back together. Good luck doing this yourself, unless you have a drill press. That swinger bolt is tough as nails

I know that the -1 is supposed to correct the banshee suspension geometry to be more like a R but is that something that you want. I have never ridden a R, only banshees. The whole point in lengthening the swingarm is to transfer weight. When you're drag racing you dont want to wheelie to the moon when you take off, so you lengthen the swingarm so you have a better takeoff, the disadvantage to doing this is that it makes it harder to maneuver and you have less traction.
