A barangay hall is the seat of government for a barangay , the lowest elected administrative division of the Philippines , below that of a city or municipality. It serves as the office of the barangay captain and meeting place for the Sangguniang Barangay. The barangay hall also serves as a local community center , often providing space for both permanent and temporary services and events. The barangay's day care center and office space for the tanods and the barangay health workers are often located there. Medical missions , religious services, fiestas , and sports contests are often held near or next to the barangay hall. This Philippines -related article is a stub.

Acting as a lantern and landmark, the illuminated barangay halls are modular in design. It has shifting walls, folded plates and a building envelope. It has three main sizes — the small, medium and large to serve different sized communities. In addition to being a symbolic and physical beacon of light for the communities, the reimagined barangay aims to reinstill conversation and connection between leaders and constituents. It introduces a large module unit barangay hall with the capacity of 12 barangay officials and 15 local volunteers.

The barangay is the smallest political unit in the Philippine government. Headed by an elected barangay captain, it serves as the main implementing unit of government programs, projects, policies, and community-wide activities.
