Pamela Isley was a plant-human hybrid, the result of a scientific experiment gone wrong, and who was known as Poison Ivy. She survives this murder attempt and discovers she has acquired an immunity to all natural toxins and diseases. FBI eventually found out about those events, but they kept her name incorrectly as Lillian Rose. Ivy challenged the three so she could be seen as the number 1 woman criminal in Gotham before making a getaway when Batman and Robin showed up.
