Berserk is among the most compelling seinen manga and dark-fantasy epics ever told.

I chose the scenes that got to me the most and find them critical as important progress points in the story and characters or just got stuck in me for some reason. This panel was the highlight of the whole assasination, showing us some insight of guts mind and the horror he feels. How guts identified with Adonis was brilliant and made it even more meaningful to guts when he murdered him. Also this panel showed us how guts is definetly not "the hero". I was dying to know what would happen when griffith and guts see each other again after what happened, but did not looked foward to it. And when griffith finally sees guts again you could feel the tension, and this panel where griffith grabs guts neck gave me chills down to my spine. Lots of feelings dwelled up inside griffith and huge guilt in guts part.

Griffith, as an invoker of the Eclipse, is compelled by the God Hand to sacrifice. At this great time of blessing I bid thee welcome to this distant setting, this abstract time. The invoker is overcome with a surge of sensations derived from the slaughter of their sacrifice s [3] before they assume their proper form.

What hurt more than just seeing a beloved character become evil was how Griffith made his choices of his own free will.

Without exaggeration, Berserk is one of the darkest manga ever written. Unfortunately, the latter was so nightmarish that it became synonymous with Berserk. Berserk became in famous for having some of the most violent and disturbing scenes in all fiction. While some would say Berserk went too far in some places, an equally passionate group would argue that these moments of suffering defined the manga. However, this also exposed newcomers to some of the most disturbing and borderline offensive scenes ever committed to paper. These scenes were so cruel that even Berserk's biggest fans agreed they went a bit too far.

It was yet another scene that showed the importance of relishing life's stretches of peace, no matter how fleeting they may be. Also this panel showed us how guts is definetly not "the hero". Its amazing!! The panel that gave the story a full circle, guts finally ready to leave the hawks to pursuit his own dream and griffith willing to kill him for the sake of not leaving him. As the feasting on the sacrifice s proceeds, the gestation of the newly conceived "child of darkness" undergoes. With the Roar of the Astral World, reality and fantasy merged whether anyone was prepared for it or not. An encounter that would change the story into something more of like a greek tale. When Emperor Ganishka transformed himself into a physical god, he turned into a giant who defied the laws of reality and even logic itself. This was what Schierke and Lady Farnese did in the elf kingdom of Elfhelm. It was powerful and memorable, but thank God that Guts rose from the ashes again in the manga. Comments Guts couldn't even harm Griffith, and he helplessly watched Griffith fly away with Casca as Elfhelm was consumed by the sea.

What made this scene so endearing was how it was one of the few times that the characters were allowed to be themselves without death and darkness hanging overhead. At this great time of blessing This, unsurprisingly, angered Guts and readers. This was especially true for Guts, as their friendship was vital to keeping him from being consumed by his trauma and the Berserker Armor's vengeful temptations. I think Griffith holding the behelit looked even better in the anime! Disturbing and sensitive topics will be discussed.
