How we long, not only for the island of Kos, but for this wonderful restaurant with all the good food Visited it with wife. I would give Avli 6 stars if I could. First, wrong wine was brought to the table ordered rose but got white, no big deal. It has a lovely atmosphere and the service was superb. The staff were amazing and recommended some amazing vegetarian dishes as we are vegetarians. Mine and my wife's chicken dishes were amazing. Glad we booked a table as the whole village is very busy with tourists every day. Overall the food was ok. Best seafood restaurant in Kos. We got a mixed seafood platter which came with a Greek salad and moules for starter. It was very long since we waited for almost an hour before receiving our pancakes. Wanderlog does it all. Very romantic place to treat your misses. Enjoyed food here during our stay at Kos Aktis Art Hotel. Went for a selection of mezes - smoked cheese saganaki, aunt's chicken chicken with paprika, bacon, and ouzo , and aubergine rolls filled with tomatoes and feta. The restaurant was quiet empty, apparently most Kos-tumers visit at night. Great service, delicious bread. We ordered a few meze dishes to share, and we got a starter, dessert, and a special drink for free. The decor is gorgeous. If you're staying at the Kardamena resort, consider visiting Avli Traditional Restaurant. Excellent price for fine dining! What a recommendation.
