Brooks adrenaline gts 22 review
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 is our go-to for those looking for a shoe that is stable and supportive. With GuideRail technology that adds firm, supportive rails along the sides of the shoe, you will feel planted and surefooted each time your foot hits the ground. Plenty of stability through the heel allows for your ankles, knees, and hips to all feel stable offering you confidence throughout your run. Combined with durable upper materials and outsole rubber, this feels like one of the most durable and well-built shoes in our lineup. Of course, these materials increase the weight, also making this one of the heavier shoes in our lineup, but we are still impressed with the ability to keep this shoe around 10 ounces. This design is traditional and doesn't have many of today's trends such as heel rocker and thick compressive foam, but if you are looking for a stable platform for everyday use, this is the model for you. Cushioning has seen some of the biggest advances in running technology in recent years. Many shoes today have thick, springy foam in the midsoles. Shoes that used to be considered high cushioning are now considered stiff by some users. The Adrenaline 22 has a more traditional cushioning platform that will feel familiar to people who have been running for a while. The cushioning is still noticeable, but not as impressive as some other models. The Adrenaline's cushioning is compressive but returns less energy and is less springy than some other models, leading to a slightly duller feeling. If you don't have the need for the stability features of this shoe, you may want to stick with something a bit less rigid.
Best for daily miles, long runs and a little uptempo work for those who need a dependable moderate stability trainer, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 continues as a staple stability shoe with newer methods of stability.
A new full length DNA Loft midsole softens the feel slightly but continues to provide a well cushioned but slightly responsive ride. The new upper is less complicated and lighter, providing a more secure rearfoot hold and a slightly more performance fit. Best for daily miles, long runs and a little uptempo work for those who need a dependable moderate stability trainer, the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 continues as a staple stability shoe with newer methods of stability. The fit is fairly normal throughout with a slight taper in the forefoot that opens up after a few miles. The upper is a simple engineered mesh in the midfoot and forefoot that breathes fairly well. It connects to a newly designed rearfoot with well padded heel counter.
The shoe is quite accessible with 4 different widths to accommodate most foot shapes. It also feels nice and durable. Clearly not fearing the wrath of a set of scales, Brooks has added 3. It is a tiny bit lighter than stability running shoes on average The Adrenaline GTS 22 carries over an aggressive Paired with the supportive GuideRails and heftier weight, it definitely feels like a slow, easy-day trainer.

The Brooks Adrenaline is back and better than ever with an upgraded midsole and a redesigned upper. The latest version of the Brooks Adrenaline takes things a step further with a resigned midsole. The EVA foam provides added softness while the extra air ensures the cushioning remains lightweight. Rubber adds durability to ensure the shoe holds up to wear and tear. The result? A plush midsole that absorbs shock and cushions landings.

This will engage your muscles and will be less weight on your feet. The 22 feel hard when my old ones felt like they conformed to my feet and felt more supported. After 4 months of of low impact wear no running at all! With help from our suppliers, we calculate the number of plastic bottles used to make a size medium of each product. Search this page. The majority of stability is centered in the heel with some in the midfoot, although the guiderails taper off there. Brooks has undoubtedly created a winner with the Adrenaline GTS 22, and my loyalty to this model is a testament to its outstanding features. They need to do more with black sides instead of white. Love the BrooGTS. The security is great without anything complicated and my feet feel locked down enough to pick up the pace if necessary. See more reviews. Starting with a rigid heel cup allows for lateral stiffness that makes your entire running form feel locked in and precise. Translate all reviews to English. Bottom Ad [Post Page]. No wonder these supportive running shoes have been known for over twenty years as a runner favorite.

Best Carbon Plated Running Shoes We buy all the products we test — no freebies from companies. With help from our suppliers, we calculate the number of plastic bottles used to make a size medium of each product. Given that the Glycerin GTS is the highly cushioned stability shoe in the Brooks line up, I would also like to see the Adrenaline lose a little bit of weight. Shop energize. Help others learn more about this product by uploading a video! Designed to offer a perfect balance of support and softness, the women's Adrenaline GTS 22 offers a smooth, soft ride ready for all your miles. The goal of a stability shoe now should be to keep the foot more centered on the platform no matter which way it goes, rather than biasing a certain direction. Have plantar fasciitis and need wider shoes and these are my most comfortable pair We thank the people at Running Warehouse for working with us. Although the ride is smoother now, I would still like to see a little larger heel bevel to smooth out heel transitions.
