This is an amazing spot however I would say their pasta dishes are just a notch above other entrees. Just a matter of preference with your selection. And wine by the glass is amazing here! January There is nothing about this restaurant that isn't spectacular. The staff has been around forever and knows their guests. The food is phenomenal. The owner is always around.

The "lines are legendary" at this "molto bene" Italian in Stamford's Shippan neighborhood, so "get there early" or "have a drink while you wait"; the "well-prepared, enormously comforting" fare is "as authentic as you can get" and comes in "generous" portions at "reasonable" prices, and the service is "friendly and seriously efficient. I've been waiting three years to try it out… finally I made it there. I felt like I unlocked a secret with this place. The wait is sort of long, but it was well worth it.
