He discovered the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak on a plinth and when he touched it, magically appeared an inscription in English that read: "Whosoever touches this gem shall be granted the power of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak! Henceforth, you who read these words, shall become Cain was mystically transformed into Cyttorak's avatar, a living Juggernaut, but the unleashed mystical energies caused a cave -in; Charles managed to escape just in time.
