About: Tucked away in the Guppy isaac Hams and just outside Slapton village, this charming small campsite offers an authentic camping and glamping experiences, perfect for reconnecting with nature with family or friends, camping slapton. Camping: The camping pitches are dotted around the side of our field and meadow. There is hardcore access for two campervans and a flat area with football camping slapton for children to play on.

At first glance, this campsite, owned and operated by the Camping and Caravanning Club, may not seem to be an obvious Hipcamp site. Too normal by far: an organised reception building; carefully manicured acres of immaculate grounds; generous metrically measured-out pitches; and superb all-encompassing but predictable facilities. Have we sold it to you yet? No, thought not. This pretty site is a busy family camping destinattion in the school holidays at least and has a playground for the kids, equipped with all the usual swings and stuff. Oh, and with pleasant efficient staff running things there will be no rowdy, sleepless nights under nylon here. What more can you ask?

This site is on a well kept meadow overlooking the bay — the sea views are panoramic from some areas of the site, with shelter provided by some large bushes and the surrounding hedge. There are grass pitches, some with a slight slope, 52 have 16A Europlugs, while 10 are on hardstandings. Motorhomes and tents are accepted, plus a maximum of 8 caravan pitches which are reserved for Club members.
