We have tried to ensure that everything about Candlewood Lodge, pays justice to its beautiful setting, with its breathtaking views over the shimmering estuarine Lagoon below, and out through the famous Knysna Heads to the Sea. Candlewood Lodge is situated in Knysna close to all amenities and 10 minutes from the nearest beach and other activities; Of course, it goes without saying, that when you just want to relax the Lodge is perfect, with its large indoor atrium beautifully appointed with tranquil palms, white furniture and elegant bar, its lovely swimming pool, large sundecks for sunbathing, and heated Jacuzzi where you can relax, with a glass of chilled Champagne and enjoy the most glorious sunsets. All the rooms have their own decks and private entrances. Self Catering Suite In addition we have a large self-catering suite, consisting of a spacious lounge, which has two single beds, a leather suite and kitchen area plus separate bedroom with queen sized bed and very spacious walk in shower bathroom. All rooms offer: Great care has been paid to ensure your comfort, so all rooms have superior Beds, complimented with the finest linen. Leading from the dinning room is the picturesque dining Courtyard which has a tranquil feel under the trees with its own water feature. Where do we start? Bird watching, Nature trails, Cycling, Monkeyland, Elephant park, Bird sanctuary, Whale watching, Paragliding, Dolphin spotting, Bungee jumping, sailing, water sports, to name just a few. For the golfing enthusiasts we have wonderful Garden Route golf courses , conveniently located, to name but four, Pezula, Simola, Fancourt and Goose Valley. Sand is an upstairs air-conditioned spacious room with a balcony, furnished with a Queen-size bed. There is a balcony with stunning views across the lagoon to the Heads and out to the sea. The room has a walk in wet room shower and a bath tub, hand basin and WC. The room boasts air conditioning, a nespresso machine and a mini bar.
