There are two kinds of collectibles in each Super Mario Cap kingdom moon kingdom: power moons and coins. Power moons are available before you finish the campaign, while power moons are only available after your final confrontation with Bowser.

Power Moons are collectible objects that are needed to power up the Odyssey to travel to new destinations.
