Catharina Maura who is otherwise known as CA Maura when writing paranormal romance is a fantasy and paranormal romance author. Over the many years that she has been actively writing romance, she has made a reputation for writing bestselling billionaire romances that her readers love for the small hint of the forbidden. With her first novel becoming wildly popular, she kicked on from there to write more than half a dozen works of fiction across single-standing novels and several series. She is now known for her penchant for penning some angsty stories that can be very intriguing. She currently lives in Hong Kong but given her wanderlust, she has at some point made her home in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. Other than him, I hated every aspect of this book. The chemistry between Elena and Alexander is palpable, and their journey from strangers to partners is both believable and heartwarming. She didn't expect Alexander Kennedy to be there, and she certainly didn't expect him to propose a marriage of convenience instead. In fact my only real issue seemed to be it was over long. It had a great premise but the heroine had given her body and innocence to another and I have zero interest in a romance where the connection and bond that comes from giving the hero the primal satisfaction in claiming those gifts for himself has been severed by a stupid heroine who has made stupid choices. Knowing that Elena will do anything to save her mother, he offers her a deal, marriage in exchange for unlimited resources to help her mother. He wants revenge against his ex-fiance and the man she cheated on him for the h's brother , and the h needs funds to take care of her coma stricken mom. I thought she was lovely. It never fails that it usually ends up being some little things that happen that make me think that. I actually felt like i was reading a wattpad fanfiction from but the only change was that they were original characters. I'm truly fine with suspending all disbelief, though at a price: decent writing.

Forever After All was absolute bonkers. Can't find what you're looking for? The covers are a huge draw, they're pretty but that's all there is to these books in my opinion. I knew where this train was going but damn. I is tired. Me and three more generations. A sense for storytelling? This was very cringe. The author skillfully weaves together the emotional turmoil experienced by both Elena and Alexander, allowing readers to empathize with their conflicting motivations and hidden desires. Tell me you're mine. I just want your body, I'll never love you. And of course the way Elena is written it's hard to connect with her no matter what she goes through because her suffering gets solved by the knight in shining armor, and guess what, her dilemma has zero effect on her life.
