The garage said the faults were pointing towards the glow plugs which have been changed along with oil and filter. Tried forced regen 2 time with no joy. If i reduce the power the warning will clear and drive fine again. Really high fuel consumption. Garage said it may need a new dpf but I'd hate to spent a ridiculous amount of money to find the dpf wasn't the problem.

Ever wondered why your Vauxhall Vivaro van is losing power or guzzling more fuel than usual? It might be time to check the injectors. Addressing injector issues promptly is crucial to keeping your van running smoothly and cost-effectively. The Vauxhall Vivaro is equipped with a sophisticated injection system that ensures optimal fuel delivery to the engine. This system comprises several key components, including the fuel pump, fuel injectors, and the electronic control unit ECU. The fuel pump is responsible for drawing fuel from the tank and delivering it to the injectors under high pressure.

Did think of pointing garage in this direction but hate telling people their job and trusted in their expertease. I guess the diesel particulate filter is blocking up, and needs a good fast run to allow it to regenerate They are going to test it once more this morning and if all OK I will collect the van later today. They still have not resolved the issue of the warning lights even after replacing the Turbo Pressure Sensor which is what they thought was the issue. He thinks that he initially did not see the faults cleared as the van had not gone through a regen, it was only after it had been driven properly that the regen occurred and the faults cleared. Avoided Vauxhaul as I have never trusted them.

How much do you pay for an MoT? Note: This feature may not be available in some browsers. I also have an odd loud whooshing sound from the engine on what sounds like middle to passenger side like an air intake without a filter on turbo boost. JavaScript is disabled. Search titles only. Vaux DPF are so I'm told very poor. The sensor of course does directly affect these systems as it is sensing the correct air charge pressure is entering the engine in order for the fuel to be matched to it. Harry Bloomfield. I'm not surprised they replaced that sensor as it was an common issue relating to specific fault codes, along with cleaning sludge out of the intercooler too. Mottie said:.
