According to first responders, a flooded section of Route 10 caused the driver of an SUV to hydroplane across the road head-on into a tractor-trailer which then crashed into a telephone pole. It took crews more than two hours to get the truck driver cut out of her cab as water continued to flow across the roadway. She was eventually transported to the hospital. A man is due to appear in court after being charged over the death of a year-old woman following a crash on a major Chester road. The fatal collision occurred on Liverpool Road at It involved two cars at the traffic lights near to the Countess of Chester Hospital. A year-old woman was taken to hospital but sadly died.
