Albury Wodonga is home to the biggest annual Chrysler show in the Southern Hemisphere, held in March each year. Hundreds of proud Chryslers owners from across Australia travel often hundreds of kilometres to attend the event, formed and hosted by the Albury Wodonga Chrysler Car Club since From humble beginnings in , the event has grown to attract several hundred Chrysler enthusiasts and their families from across Australia. While numbers continue to grow, the event has remained true to its core, still run and organised by passionate Albury Wodonga Chrysler Club members. Chryslers on the Murray was created by the Albury Wodonga Chrysler Club, a social club formed in , dedicated to Chrysler produced vehicles of Australia and American design across all eras. The first car show, Mopars on the Murray was held in Now known as Chryslers on the Murray, the show has grown to become the largest Chrysler show in the Southern Hemisphere. The first annual car show was called Mopars on the Murray and was an initiative of the Albury Wodonga Chrysler Club in A swap meet was added to the show in and has been successful in attracting specialist Chrysler vendors from across Australia. Entrants and enthusiasts alike now travel to Albury in the hope of finding that elusive part. Chryslers on the Murray continues to grow, due to it being professionally run, even though all work is carried out by volunteers. Costs are kept to a minimum through sponsorship and support from businesses and corporate partners, as well as grants and support from Local and State Government. Over the past few years, in excess of Chryslers have journeyed to the Albury-Wodonga area to celebrate the Chrysler breed, making this event the largest Chrysler show in the Southern Hemisphere. A mighty effort and one of which we are proud, considering our club is one of the smallest Chrysler Clubs in Australia.

Friday continues with the Great Reveal for newly completed vehicles, and early check-in at Gateway Lakes. Saturday morning gates open early for the swap meet and judging, with an early afternoon cruise for the spotlight vehicle photo shoot. Looking forward to seeing everyone! There will also be additional parking at Noreuil Park in South Albury, only a short walk across the bridge to the event site.
