I have not made this yet so I cannot rate it.

To start of this post, I want to mention that this lovely granny square motif was created by Priscilla Hewitt and is currently a free pattern on her website. After I graduated, I found myself having a lot of time on my hands, while waiting and sending out resumes. As I was waiting, I found myself on Pinterest a lot! So there I was, hook and yarn in one hand, pattern in the other and I dove right in. How I came across this granny square pattern, was pretty much the same way! After making the cardigan, I wanted to make a granny square project. I found out who it was made by and it happened to be a free pattern. Having designed quite a few crochet patterns and knowing the amount of work that goes into each pattern. It is pretty awesome when a crochet designer offers it for free! For my granny square colors, I chose to do a natural, creamy off white color and then for the inner circle, I went with a light pink color. I love the color combinations of these two colors and think they compliment each other nicely. I think this granny square would look good with a variegated yarn or a planned color pooling yarn.
