Chris Poole and his wife, Jessica Josephs, are the local couple behind the cats. As Cole was raised with Chris and Jess from a young age, he has bonded very closely to them. Marmalade born: July 1, [age 10] is the second cat they got. He had two siblings who unfortunately died, and his original owners sadly didn't want him anymore, which led to him being adopted by Chris and Jess. He was named after the British jam of the same name. Cole and Marmalade quickly became great friends. His tumours were removed and he had to undergo chemotherapy treatment, however he is reportedly healthy after briefly being in remission.
