Back then, the constructors' championship was known as the International Cup for F1 Manufacturers, and it's adopted a number of names in the years since. The rules have evolved a great deal too: until only the best-placed car would contribute points to the constructors' standings, with various rules about counting a team's best results over the course of a season. But which F1 teams have racked up the most constructors' titles? And how many drivers' titles have they amassed in the process?

Bold entries indicate that the constructor has competed in the season. This page is accurate as of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Starts : Number of races where at least one car of the constructor started the race. Entries : Number of races where the constructor registered or was expected to participate. The Russian Grand Prix was discontinued after the edition. Front row refers to the cars at the front of each column of cars on the starting grid. Since the German Grand Prix , the starting grid has been formed of two columns of cars, so the front row has consisted of two cars. Previously, the front row consisted of either two, three, or four cars. After Red Bull confirmed a historic one-two result in the world championship drivers' standings at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Mercedes battled in Abu Dhabi to take the runners-up spot in the contructors' championship. It was a ferocious tactical battle at Yas Marina with P2 swaying between Mercedes and Ferrari throughout. Despite Charles Leclerc 's genius tactic of allowing Sergio Perez to take P2 and extend his lead over Russell - having incurred a five-second penalty - was not enough to keep the British driver off the podium, which sealed the Silver Arrows P2 position in the constructors' championship. And it was the Aston Martin man who managed to take fourth spot after finishing P7 - as Sainz could not finish in the points on what was a disappointing weekend for Alonso's fellow Spaniard. Red Bull Racing couldn't have had a better weekend on track. One Grand Prix completed and the Austrian team scored the maximum number of points possible. With 44 points, Red Bull were able to create a nice gap to the competition right from the start in Bahrain. After the first race of what is set to be a very long F1 season, five of the 10 teams have their first points. Ferrari are Red Bull's closest pursuer for now. The difference to the team of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez is already 17 points.

Constructors' Championship points are calculated by adding points scored in each race by any driver for that constructor. From the inaugural season of the World Constructors' Championship in up until the season only the highest-scoring driver in each race for each constructor contributed points towards the World Constructors' Championship then officially as the International Cup for Formula One Constructors ; since the season points from all cars entered by each constructor have counted towards their championship total.
