Coren Direbrew can be found in Blackrock Depths during Brewfest. Players may fight him endlessly, in order to obtain his trinket collections. Coren fighting Chen Stormstout , as seen in Pearl of Pandaria. The original Brewfest was a contest held by Chen Stormstout and Grimbooze Thunderbrew to decide which of the two made the better beer. However, Coren fought and whined his way into the contest as well. While Chen and Grimbooze were quite even in votes on their drinks, Coren only had two votes - one from himself, and one that Chen had given him out of pity.

An affront!

Coren Direbrew is bugged and works only if the dungeon difficulty is set to Normal. Be sure you are not in a Raid group or the Dungeon is not set to HC. I went with 4 characters, and we always had some problems. For one guy it was working and for other dont. It seems the problem is bigger. Because even set on Normal it buggs.

Is there a cap level for brewfest my 60 alts aren't showing the purple keg on que? There might be a "bug" meaning you need to be 70 for the purple keg. Once a day. At the moment, the purple keg is for 70 only. Disappointing thank you for confirming.

As its name suggests, the event consists in a virtual celebration of fictional World of Warcraft beers. Also, the event is easy enough that you can bring random alts in in place of DPS that aren't saved for the day and continue trying for the mounts. Stay clear of the drills and healer run to the tank in between whirlwinds for some AoE tauntage if you're getting slammed too hard by adds.
