Hear Charlie's experience of the Vacation Scheme at Covington. Why did you apply to Covington vacation scheme? There are three main reasons why I applied to Covington. We are facing an increasingly regulated world, and thus training at Covington would provide the opportunity to be at the forefront of novel and challenging legal work. Covington lawyers consistently bill some of the highest average pro bono hours per lawyer when compared to other UK and US firms.

Over the one week Winter or two week Summer schemes students have the opportunity to become integrated into the London office and gain an insight into the work of a Covington lawyer. Eligible applicants will be in their final year of a non-law degree or penultimate or final year of a law degree. We also welcome applications from graduates and career changers. Successful applicants will be invited to an assessment day, involving an interview with two senior lawyers and a group activity. We recruit trainees exclusively through our vacation schemes.
