When David Guzik was a young pastor in Simi Valley, California, he among many other pastors was asked to send his teaching notes to the developers of a new internet Bible research site: Blue Letter Bible. Many pastors, Bible teachers, and everyday Christians find these materials helpful. Now you can take the Enduring Word Commentary with you on your mobile device. I love, love, love this app. I am a recent convert to Christianity, so when I started reading the Bible it was with a completely blank slate of knowledges and this app has just been a wonderful resource. The Bible can be a bit daunting because of the length and the language but this app has helped break down verses in a way that makes it more easily understood. It has helped me so much with putting things into context both historically and even in terms of the context of the Bible itself. The app will show the connections between the Old and New Testament and how different verses allude to one another. Overall, I cannot give this app a more positive review. It has certainly helped me in seeking God and has pushed me to look even deeper into His word by reading apologetics and sermons given by some of the authors that this app quotes from. In my many years of teaching verse-by-verse through the Bible, I came to prepare my teaching notes in a certain way. Through a series of unexpected events I found that what I prepared for myself as teaching notes was helpful to some others as Bible commentary.
