Dragon ball aliens

In a multiverse populated by Saiyans, Kais, Androids, and members of the Frieza Clan, there was arguably no species in Dragon Ball Super that could confidently claim to be the toughest. Then Dragon Ball Super introduced Angels to the storyline, dragon ball aliens, and at last one species separated itself from the rest.

The Dragon Ball world is split into tons of different races and types of beings. Since the origins of the series, things have blown into a whole other level with Dragon Ball Super introducing Angels, more Demons, new Saiyan transformations, Gods, and more. However, the main race that the series was initially known for was a certain type of alien. The main alien race of the series of course is the Saiyans , but there are a lot of alien races that could be ranked as some of the strongest in the Dragon Ball universe. One no-brainer when it comes to one of the strongest alien races in the series is the Namekians. This race has been around for quite some time, making its big appearance with the King Piccolo arc of the classic era of Dragon Ball. Since then it seems they have gotten more powerful with the main focus being Piccolo Jr.

Boards Dragon Ball - General Goku being an alien was a unnecessary retcon. Theone 2 years ago He wasn't planned to be anything but a monkey boy. Toriyama confirms this. He a alien boy. Monkey Boi. There is a reason Goku and Piccolo were the only characters from OG Dragon Ball to be retconned into being alien: the shock. Back in OG DB, the idea of aliens existing was laughable, Yamcha was laughing at Kami because he assumed Kami was suggesting he himself was an alien when he really meant god. Could've equally worked as just Goku coming from a secret Earth tribe of evil monkey-tailed creatures who kept it low or something to create a shocking origin for Goku, but Toriyama at the time wanted to expand past the borders of just one world and clearly, while lazily, killed two birds with one stone. There is a reason Goku and Piccolo were the only characters from OG Dragon Ball to be retconned into being alien: Toriyama wanted to rip off Superman and that's about it. Djyc 2 years ago Then Why were there so many Lines about Goku being an alien in the Japanese version of dragonball? Yeah it was said "Jokingly", but Toriyama clearly thought about it since season 1 to even write those lines in the show in the first place.

Divinity in Dragon Ball has always been handled very interestingly. Or it could be that Gohan himself is insanely strong, dragon ball aliens. There are various types of Namekians in the world of Dragon Ballthe two most prominent being the dragon clan and the warrior-types.

Aliens from all corners of the galaxy were introduced, bringing chaos to Earth and the Z-fighters. Even Dragon Ball had its fair share of crazy species, featuring demons, androids and Namekians. The franchise as a whole is filled to the brim with all kinds of crazy extraterrestrial, superhuman, and artificially created species. Even Dragon Ball Super has started to introduce some insanely powerful creatures from different universes, including alternate versions of the Saiyans. The real question is: which of these many species is the strongest of them all? The answer might actually surprise you. For this specific list, we'll only be looking at species that have been featured prominently in some way - be it that more than one of their kind has been featured, or that they have had a specific impact on the franchise on a whole.

Dragon Ball neatly set up Goku's origin story as an extra-terrestrial, but these hints were entirely accidental. Akira Toriyama's original Dragon Ball series never truly delves into Goku's origin or backstory. It's evident from the off that the wild-haired youth is an unusually strong child with the tail of a monkey, but this is largely played-off as just another part of the fantastical Dragon Ball world where dinosaurs roam and tiny blue emperors are incredibly wealthy. The only backstory Dragon Ball gives initially is that Goku's Grandpa Gohan was killed after being squashed by a big monster, with Goku unaware the beast was actually himself transformed into a giant ape after looking at the full moon. Why Goku is capable of such a transformation and where he originally came from remains unknown for a hefty episodes.

This unnamed race of mushroom-like aliens are a race of purple mushroom-headed beings that live on an unnamed planet attacked by Lord Slug and his henchman in a promotional movie for Dragon Ball Heroes. A young member of the race threw a rock at Froze , mistaking him for Frieza. Later, on their planet, Lord Slug transforms into a Great Namek and destroys one of the race's city, while his henchmen attack the young members of the race. Goku and the Beat arrive on the planet, and defeat Angila and Medamatcha rapidly. Another of Slug's top men, Wings , is seen with some grunts attacking the young member of the race mentioned previously and his father. He knocks the father with a strong punch. When Wings was about to attack the youth, Froze stops him from doing further harm, and defeats him and the grunts. They most presumably defeated him, thus bringing back peace to these mushroom people.

Well, that is technically correct, but hear us out. Putting the Supreme Kai above the Saiyans of universe 6 was a bit of a tough choice to come to, but we think we can justify it. The Kanassan are another race that had to hold their own against the onslaught of the Saiyan race. Majin Boo ends the original series as one of the single strongest living characters in the franchise. By this logic, their great, ancient magical power ranks the Dragons as perhaps the most powerful race in the franchise - at least when it comes to magic. One no-brainer when it comes to one of the strongest alien races in the series is the Namekians. The throwaway lines just further indicate that Goku was an anomaly at the time. Like Zarbon, the rest of his race begins as humanoid beings until they tap into their more powerful forms. They become even stronger when they merge together. That might be a bit confusing, but let's put it this way: species like the Saiyans are often depicted as being so strong that a human has difficulty facing them. The Tuffle may basically be alien humans, but unlike the humans, this race was able to use their tech to hold back the Saiyans and end things in a stalemate. Which Dragon Ball race do you think is most powerful? Cell is easily the strongest android, and 16, 17, and 18 are nothing to scoff at either. Because of this, we can already place them a step above most of the beings within the universes that they govern.

Arlians were an insectoid species from planet Arlia. The planet and the race only appear in the filler episode " Terror on Arlia ", not in the original manga.

Despite their ruthless battle tactics and natural strength, they're not really a threat. Sure, Dende and Kami can produce great magic, but most Namekians are not as strong or powerful. In fact, the original dragon, the dragon god Zalama, is capable of granting any wish. Because of this, we can already place them a step above most of the beings within the universes that they govern. But even then, the whole concept of Super Saiyan God is so intimately related to their arc. Maybe once Ultra Instinct is back into the picture as a full time ability. Then there are the other Kaioshin. Dragon Ball Super has placed even further focus on the Saiyans, using the Universe 6 Saiyans as a means of explaining just how insanely powerful the average Saiyan can be in the right environment. There is a reason Goku and Piccolo were the only characters from OG Dragon Ball to be retconned into being alien: Toriyama wanted to rip off Superman and that's about it. They're these little aliens that grow out of the ground from seeds and are used by Saiyans to train themselves or to test the strength and skill of opponents. As much as we might love Saiyans, they are clearly not the most powerful species in the franchise. Yheir never-ending artificial stamina is a powerful asset in long-term fights, but there are also plenty of other androids from earlier in the franchise that upset the average of the species.
