Ds2 power stance

I've decided to play ds2 again for fun and to take a look at power stance which i completely ignored on my first playthrough. Could someone advice weapon types or exact weapons for early, mid and late game? Good moveset or highest damage or anything else you find most useful will do. I assume you mean "Power Stance", which activates when you use two compitable weapons and have 1,5 of the required stats for the weapons.
