In one of the episodes Bridgette and Geoff, in their own show called Total Drama Action Aftermath; TDA aftermath, there Geoff shows a video of Duncan daydreaming about Courtney and asking Gwen if she thinks that Courtney is looking at the stars now too. For a minute Courtney smiles watching that, however then Duncan and Gwen falls ok eachother and get really close to each other on the footage, then we see that Courtney is annoyed about That, and Next second, Geoff draws on the photo and notes that Duncan and Gwens lips are really close. Courtney, despite seeing before that Duncan thinks only about her, focuses on that one part and soon afterwards calls her lawyer. Thanks to the call, a few episodes later she comes back to the Total Drama Action show. She lands in the opposite team to Duncan's. The two however, get back together in the finale. During the Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action reunion, they break up again, but appear to get back together after kissing on the bus.

During Greek MixCourtney finds that Duncan indeed has a great singing voice and swoons over it, duncan and courtney, ironically being too far away to make out the lyrics, which pertain to the love triangle going on that she is unaware of still.

As an overachiever, she has a tendency to overreact when things go wrong, and drives herself crazy in order to get what she wants. She has become notorious among the contestants for constantly reminding them of her counselor-in-training experience, resulting in their constant annoyance.

A haughty, uptight, and perfectionist overachiever who will do anything for success. As the only contestant with CIT counselor-in-training experience, Courtney is a natural leader with many strengths, but her bossy demeanor and ruthless drive to win make her a polarizing individual. Academic Athlete : She is both scholarly and athletic. The Ace : As part of being a perfectionist she prides herself in being a straight 'A' student. Her Island bio claims she's a published author, having written the award-winning book Total Triumph for Teens and that her bedroom is covered with trophies, ribbons, and plaques; she's apparently never lost anything in her life before Total Drama. Action Girl : Especially in Action. Courtney has exceptional athletic abilities and is also capable of lifting amounts of weight much greater than her own. Averted in Island where she generally did poorly in challenges, though she did rip a light post out of the ground and swing it as a weapon pretty easily.

Duncan grins at Gwen until he notices that her raft is sinking. However, Chris states that the question is for Beth and his question is "What color is Courtney thinking of right now? I think he was at a point where he was fed up with the way Courtney was treating him, fed up with the idea that someone like her could so easily and publicly make him into jelly when he prides himself on his toughness…and was also just fed up with the entire competition to begin with.

In the end Courtney wins the challenge and Beth , Lindsay , and Harold try to vote off Duncan like before to make Courtney angry. When World Tour starts, Courtney and Duncan are still a couple, although the latter is slowly losing interest in her due to her bossiness and control over him. After Duncan went crazy from being in the woods too long, Courtney's kiss snaps him out of it. After the bear attacked her, Duncan and Courtney were paired for the wedding challenge even though both did not want each other Duncan actually tried going back into the machine. Duncan noticeably stared at Courtney while she was sliding through the lasers, howling like a wolf in response. Shortly after being dumped by Gwen, she and Courtney rekindle their friendship, which Gwen had been desiring and attempting to do since the start of the season. From here on, the two of them return to being fierce enemies. Courtney shows sympathy for Duncan and shares her food with him, which leads to a conversation. Seeing Duncan's actions Courtney realizes that Duncan is actually a nice guy deep down. Somewhat similar looking from a distance, Sarah realized her mistake a bit too late but found her heart hammering and his eyes adoration made her believe in love at first sight! After several events later, Duncan is qualified for Total Drama Action while Courtney isn't, making her mad again.
