As you would expect, there is a section dedicated to the DPF but the Gasoline Particulate filter is not mentioned anywhere.

I keep having a message on my screen Exhaust filter full. Is this urgent? I can't get to the Ford garage for a few days. Is there a way of getting rid of the message? Taking it for a longish drive, focusing on over-run accelerating too much and then letting off throttle seems to be the best way to help regen a GPF. Not the same process as a DPF on a diesel.

The salesman probably wasn't aware of them. If you still are driving with the message then it may be worthwhile to ask the dealer if there is an update to the PCM. Also I observed other issues like power loss and jerking, and I think they are inter related.
