Founded in by Nike, this intensive tournament features some of the best male and female high school players from across North America. It is composed of AAU travel teams. The level of play is far beyond what any other league offers and scouts often attend games as they search for future stars. They come from all different backgrounds and have experienced varying levels of success at both the amateur and professional levels. From first-round picks to undrafted rookies, this league continues to churn out top talent year after year — proving that it is one of the most reliable sources for developing future NBA stars. There is no fixed number of EYBL teams, as the league can expand and contract throughout the years based on changes in participation levels. However, it typically ranges from teams spread across four divisions — east, west, central, and south. Each division features two brackets — a team bracket and a team bracket — with several overlapping games taking place every year. Teams compete over three different weekends during the spring and summer months with the top squads receiving invitations to participate in the prestigious Peach Jam championship tournament. There are several paths that you can take to join such a team, including becoming part of an Amateur Athletic Union AAU program or through direct scouting and recruitment.
