Also I haven't set up a vending machine in my camp yet, but if i do and put ammo in there will it still take up space in my stash box? No, the NPC will not buy ammo. Not gonna say I haven't wished the boots would buy my ammo, but I'm kind of happy they don't or caps would end up seriously decreasing in value.
