Buddy Missions: These are the 'subverted' missions your buddies offer you. I recommend doing all of these to extend the life of the game. The main incentive for doing them is the unlocking of upgrades health, ammo, fuel, etc. Keep in mind that once you reach Act 2 you'll have to earn almost all of the upgrades all over again. Each buddy offers two side missions at the Bar which are completely non-beneficial.
