I love furry home decor accents, like this CB2 stool. Lay the top of the plant stand upside down on top of about four layers of batting and trace a circle around the stand. Now lay the batting-covered stand upside down on your rug. For this first stool we used the curved end of the rug as it was a perfect fit around the stand. Assemble the stand according to the included directions. If the fur makes it impossible to lay the parts flat for assembly, as the instructions show, then hold the parts at a slight angle, as shown in the above photo. I cannot wait for my daughter Stella to wake up from her nap and see it.

Well for me, this project was a bit of both! I think most people have or have had the infamous IKEA poang chair at sometime in their life and maybe even the footstool to match! I bought a new cushion cover and pad as a replacement but when I got home I realised the shades of red were different — the new one was slightly orangey. This definitely would not do!! I spent ages looking out for a suitable fabric but getting the right shade of red was proving tricky. On the underneath side of the cushion is the zip closure to allow the cover to be taken off for washing and a strip of Velcro which sticks to Velcro on the footstool to help stop it from slipping. I decided to use these instead of buying new ones as I was going to be ripping it apart anyway and I knew they were the right size.

This footstool is comfortable to rest your feet on and has the same unique shape as the armchair with its strong layer-glued frame. Have a seat and relax. The frame is made of layer-glued bent oak which is a very strong and durable material. Product is possible to recycle or use for energy recovery, if available in your community. Width: 19 ".
