Just checked and there appears to be a new sync 3 update available. Have downloaded and extracted it. I was wondering if anyone use has already up loaded it to their car. Suppose once that is done there will be maps available. Good job I had a long driver planned, sod leaving your engine ticking over that long, actually wondering how long it would take via WiFi.

I attempted it via USB as the 'search for update' option never returned an update. After downloading the file from the ford website and plugging in my USB drive to the car, all started well and it informed me that it was updating. After about 35 mins, the updating message disappeared and I'm left not knowing what to do. I left it another 15 mins and gave up. Does anybody know how long this should take?
