Forgotten Crossroads is a Location in Hollow Knight. Please see Walkthrough for other areas. The Forgotten Crossroads is an area that connects various parts of the Kingdom of Hallownest. Upon dropping down the well, you'll now find yourself in the Forgotten Crossroads. Proceed to the right-hand side of the area where you'll find the entrance of the Temple of the Black Egg , along the way you'll encounter 1x Tiktik and 1x Wandering Husk.

Knights of the Old Republic 2. The Curse of Monkey Island. When you first drop down the well head across to the right. Leave the temple and continue to the right. Keep following the path to the right until you come to a large bug with a bat. He has two strikes. A smash and a shockwave. Retreat backwards when he smashes and run in for a single strike before running back again. Jump over any shockwaves. Return to the left, take the first drop down and continue to the left. When you get to the hub drop all the way to the bottom. Drop down again and follow the humming to the left to meet the Map Maker, Cornifer. Drop down and continue to the left, dodging the large spiked creatures and hopping over the dangerous water. Break the jar to rescue him as well.

Soul Totem x 6.

Found along the path leading to Greenpath. He is held in the mandibles of a Vengefly King, and the Knight has the choice to either save him or leave him. If saved, he complains that the Knight got in the way between him and his "prey", he introduces himself and boasts about his supposed mighty deeds. If he is not saved before acquiring the Mantis Claw, he dies in this location, with his nail and shell remaining. Hitting his shell here grants the Neglect achievement. If he is saved in Greenpath, Zote shows up in Dirtmouth, where he once again talks to the Knight in an arrogant fashion.

Zote can be found in a corridor leading back to the storerooms of the City of Tears. He has forgotten the Knight and introduces himself again. Found stuck in spider webs, presumably having been captured by the beasts of Deepnest. Once again the Knight has the choice to either save him or leave him, though this time leaving him does not result in his death.

Freeing Grubs from their glass prisons will allow them to return to the Grubfather, located in the northeastern corner of the Forgotten Crossroads. The first Grub is located south of where you meet Cornifer. Continue down the tunnel, then head left and through the tunnel filled with impervious burrowing worms. Beyond that is a cavern filled with acid.

Cornifer can be found in newly discovered areas where he sells a map of the specific area he is in for a reasonable price, you'll want to try and find him first every time you come across a new area to buy a copy of the map. Through the Depths of the Crossroads In this new section, you'll encounter a centipede-like bug called a Goam that pops in and out from either the ground, wall, or ceiling, keep in mind that these enemies do not take any damage and are considered as environmental hazards. Just keep heading left and into the next section where you'll encounter 2x Leaping Husk , 1x Wandering Husk and 1x Husk Hornhead. After killing all three Dreamers, this seal is broken and the entrance is opened. Crests and Tools can be changed when sitting on a Bench similar to Charms. Vessel Fragment x 1.
