Furry Tales International is a non-profit animal rescue organization that was founded in by a group of passionate volunteers who dedicate their time and resources to save the lives of pets around the world. Our mission is to provide a second chance for dogs and cats in need and to find them loving forever homes. We believe that every animal deserves to be loved and cared for, and we strive to make this a reality for as many pets as possible. Over the years, we have successfully placed hundreds of dogs and cats in loving homes. Our work is made possible through the dedication of our volunteers, foster homes, and adoptive families, and the generosity of our donors. We are committed to continuing our life-saving work and expanding our impact. At Furry Tales International, we believe that education and prevention are essential to reducing the number of pets in need. We are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and spaying and neutering to help prevent pet overpopulation. We also believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of animals in need and create a world where every pet has a loving home. It's a heartbreaking reality that millions of animals around the world are suffering every day. Stray, abandoned, injured, or surrendered, they face a future filled with uncertainty and pain. In many parts of the world, the fate of these innocent creatures is even more grim, with the threat of ending up at the meat markets in places like Korea. But it doesn't have to be this way. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of these animals and give them the love, care, and protection they deserve. By choosing to adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate, you can change the course of one animal's life and make a positive impact in the world.

Our goal is to provide loving homes to dogs who were previously unwanted or in unhealthy or dangerous living situations. ALL members of the household must agree on the adoption. We do NOT allow adoptions to be surprises for others. Potential adopters must submit an initial application that will be followed up by a phone interview and home check. We call two personal non-family references that are to be listed on the application. If all goes well we have a detailed adoption contract that must be thoroughly read, completed, and signed by the adopter.

We take cats that come from a variety of backgrounds — sick, shy, scared, blind, deaf, riddled with flea infestation, risk of being euthanized, owner surrenders! Make a Donation Furry Tales relies on donations to pay for veterinary care for our cats, as well as food and supplies for those in our cattery and in foster homes.
