Courteney Cox plays Gale Weathers, a local reporter trying to get to the bottom of the brutal murders. One of my favorite scenes in the first film is when spoiler alert she discovers that her trusty cameraman, Kenny, has been slaughtered and thrown onto the roof of her news van.
