It is a simple and linear fragrance, but what it lacks in complexity, it makes up for with its well-rounded, memorable scent. But, to elaborate a bit… the almost syrupy sweet cassis has a subtle green edge, a pleasant sense of depth, and is softened by creamy vanilla. I love it! The woody base feels smooth and soft and evokes to me dark, reddish woods in particular, for some reason. It smells warm, enveloping and well-rounded — with depth and elegance to its prettiness… or the other way around? Sillage and lasting power are great on my experience wearing it and smelling it on others. Notes: Top cassis; Heart may rose, freesia; Base vanilla, patchouli, ambroxan, woody notes. Versatile and very signature-style. Warm, nectary, rosy, polished, enveloping, pretty and elegant — all in one simple, but smoothly-blended scent. Very feminine, easy to wear and to like.

Eau de parfum strength means hours of longevity and a nice skin glow, so performance isn't an issue. It would smell amazing on someone else! It is totally in the category of pretty, girly and feminine, all pink, glittery rainbows and unicorns and pixie dust.

The original Giorgio Armani Si eau de Parfum is an iconic perfume for women. In fact, it is the most popular fragrance for women in Australia at the moment. But, is it actually the best?
