The film is a little reminiscing to Toho Studio's classic movie, Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster, but this time featuring the monsters in the 21st century, with some neat special effects. You get to see each of the monsters' unyielding powers and characteristics, and them battling each other is nothing short of edge-of-your-seat monster excitement.

Monster movies tend to have very bad human storylines. To me it seems insane that a little girl is keen in knowing a lot about monsters. The action scenes are very good. This Godzilla movie has brought in other monsters that makes it even more interesting as compared to the previous Godzilla movie.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters has done an effective job of making larger-than-life creatures completely inert, and any popcorn-munching fun that might've come from such a show has been reduced to a dismissive shrug.

As of now and including this one, 35 Godzilla films have been produced worldwide, with Hollywood completely producing only 3 of them. But then again, there are the absolute must watch classics. The monsters may not be as gigantic as Godzilla, but are just as scary, mind you. Critics identified this one as a brainless kind of blockbuster and I can only completely agree on both the terms used therein. To add to that if the CGI mayhem is not enough, you can always count on Dwayne Johnson to deliver the goods. The shaky cam almost made me dizzy, but added to the urgency that such a situation would entail.
