The new Brentford stadium, which is named Brentford Community Stadium, is the new ground which serves as the home of Brentford football club. After having played at the previous Brentford Stadium, Griffin Park, since , The Bees made the switch in and they were finally able to execute a plan that had been in development since The ground has four distinct stands — South, North, West, and East. The premium seats, dugouts, and media seats are available on the south stand. The family area is located in the North stand, while the hard-core supporters can be seen in the West stand. The south-east corner of the eastern stand will also host the Brentford supporters. The hospitality facilities provided in this new ground are built to modern standards. Inside the ground, though, the summer of did see some pretty substantial work take place. The Bees acted swiftly to facilitate safe standing off the back of a change in legislation. As for future development, the design of Brentford Community Stadium does allow for relatively easy expansion where capacity is concerned. Right now, Brentford have a maximum capacity of 17, but there are changes that can be made to reach circa 25, — with a couple of levels in between the two as well. If the football on the pitch remains as it currently is, an increase could arrive sooner rather than later — but there is no official word on that!

The Brentford Community Stadium , currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Gtech Community Stadium , [5] is a football stadium in Brentford , West London that is the home of Premier League football club Brentford. The stadium has a capacity of 17, and is suitable for use for both association football and rugby union matches. Opened in , the stadium is at the heart of plans to regenerate the surrounding area, including new homes and commercial opportunities. In October while still playing at Griffin Park , following several years of speculation about a possible relocation, Brentford Football Club announced plans to move to a 20,capacity stadium near Kew Bridge. This included an ambitious monorail proposal, which was later dropped from the scheme. After several years of uncertainty, the project was suddenly brought back to public attention in late when the club announced that it had secured an option on the site. This was followed up in February when a partnership deal with Barratt Homes to develop the site was announced. The club's plan to move to a new community stadium took a massive step forward when, on 28 June , the club bought the 7.
